Members of St Oswald’s and friends are invited to attend a presentation by members of the Unley Uluru Statement from the Heart Support
Group this Sunday.
Date and time: Sunday 23rd July, 11.30am-1.00pm
Aims:
- To become acquainted with the actual “Uluru Statement from the Heart”.
- To recall the history and background which leads up to the Statement.
- To be informed about the referendum and what is necessary to change the Constitution.
- To consider the reasons to support the Voice and to address common misconceptions.
After the PowerPoint presentation of about 45 minutes, there will be time for a Q&A and discussion together.
We hope that you will find this a worthwhile occasion to ponder the historical significance of this invitation to walk together with the First Nations people of Australia.
